About VT Ski Finder

One clear view of Vermont skiing.

VT Ski Finder brings weather, snow outlooks, open terrain, mountain facts, webcams, and firsthand observations together for skiers deciding where to go next.

Built for the next mountain day

Most Vermont ski decisions happen a few days ahead. The site keeps the information needed for that decision compact, comparable, and easy to scan across 17 lift-served resorts.

How the information is assembled

Forecasts come from the National Weather Service. Operating information comes from official resort reports. Terrain, snowfall averages, and pass affiliations use maintained reference data. Resort webcams remain in their original feeds.

Where useful firsthand observations are available, VT Ski Finder combines them into an original conditions report. Reports emphasize consistent observations from established contributors, summarize the strongest points of agreement, and avoid copying source language.

Updates during ski season

Weather and resort data refresh throughout the day. Firsthand condition reports are scheduled for review around 6 a.m., 1 p.m., and 7 p.m. Eastern when current observations are available. Each report shows when it was last updated.

Independent and Vermont focused

VT Ski Finder is independently operated by a Vermont skier and is not owned by or affiliated with any resort or pass company. Official resort and weather links remain available on each mountain’s details page.
